Jamie Theakston has announced that he's been diagnosed with cancer and will be taking a break from hosting his Heart Radio show.
While sharing his health news, the radio star confirmed who would be stepping into his shoes temporarily to host the show alongside Amanda Holden.
On Tuesday, 17 September Jamie, 53, shared the news in an emotional statement that he had been diagnosed with stage 1 laryngeal cancer following an operation on his vocal cords.
Despite the diagnosis, Jamie said his "prognosis is very positive" and he hopes to be back on the radio in October.This led Jamie to reveal that JK, aka Jason King, will be his replacement on the Heart Radio show as he focuses on his recovery.
