Piers Stefan Pughe-Morgan (born 30 March 1965) is an English broadcaster, journalist, writer, and television personality. He is currently a co-presenter of the ITV Breakfast programme Good Morning Britain from Monday to Wednesday each week. Morgan began his career in Fleet Street as a writer and editor for several tabloid papers, including The Sun, News of the World, and the Daily Mirror. In 1994, aged 29, he was appointed editor of the News of the World by Rupert Murdoch, which made him the youngest editor of a British national newspaper in more than half a century.

Piers Morgan gave a candid insight into life at home during the coronavirus criss as he let his wife Celia Walden give him an amateur haircut.

The Good Morning Britain presenter, 55, has been in need of a good trim and had to ask his journalist wife to do the deed given the current lockdown.

But despite Celia looking the picture of confidence, Piers didn't seem too keen about her playing barber, even though she told him she'd watched a YouTube video to reassure him.

Piers took to Instagram to share his thoughts before he got the dreaded chop, hinting it would all go wrong. Sitting in a chair, posing for a mirror selfie, the star penned: "The words "Don’t worry, I've watched a YouTube video..." do not fill me with confidence..
