Kensington Palace has confirmed that the Princess of Wales will not be at an event on Friday 12 July where Prince William will be taking to the polo field at Windsor for an annual charity polo match.
Prince William will be competing in the Out-Sourcing Inc Royal Charity Polo Cup 2024 at Guards Polo Club in Windsor Great Park, to raise funds for good causes.
It will be the 13th time William has played in the event, which is expected to raise £1 million this year and take the total amount raised over the years to more than £13 million.
Causes that benefit from the charity match include the Motor Neurone Disease Association, Wales Air Ambulance, Royal African Society, Place2Be, Mountain Rescue England & Wales, SHOUT, Child Bereavement UK, Action for Children, The Blackthorn Rally, The Royal Marsden and HMS Oardacious Fund.
