KFC to reopen 500 branches with limited menus by the end of this week

KFC is planning to reopen 500 branches across the UK following in the footsteps of McDonald's, Subway and Burger King. The fast food giant had closed stores in the country after the Government announced a full coronavirus lockdown on March 23.

Around 50% of restaurants will be back in business operating a limited menu for deliveries only by Friday. This will allow branches to operate in line with social distancing measures which lets a handful of staff in stores at one time.

For the past fortnight, KFC has slowly been reopening restaurants across the UK for home delivery, drive-thru and click and collect.

Last week, the fast food giant said it was reopening 16 restaurants for takeaway. But dining areas remain closed as per Government
