Piers Stefan Pughe-Morgan (born 30 March 1965) is an English broadcaster, journalist, writer, and television personality. He is currently a co-presenter of the ITV Breakfast programme Good Morning Britain from Monday to Wednesday each week. Morgan began his career in Fleet Street as a writer and editor for several tabloid papers, including The Sun, News of the World, and the Daily Mirror. In 1994, aged 29, he was appointed editor of the News of the World by Rupert Murdoch, which made him the youngest editor of a British national newspaper in more than half a century.

Lord Alan Sugar is wondering how Piers Morgan has been tested for coronavirus, as he heartily stoked their ongoing, bitter feud as the presenter awaited his test results.

Hours after the Good Morning Britain presenter, 55, shared he’d come down with a ‘mild symptom’ and decided to be tested for Covid-19, his frenemy Lord Sugar was already weighing into the conversation.

With Piers himself speaking about the lack of testing for frontline workers in the NHS (even though testing has been increased this month), as he became a vigilante of sorts amid the pandemic, the businessman suggested he’d be raging should any other celebrity be tested.
