Piers Stefan Pughe-Morgan (born 30 March 1965) is an English broadcaster, journalist, writer, and television personality. He is currently a co-presenter of the ITV Breakfast programme Good Morning Britain from Monday to Wednesday each week. Morgan began his career in Fleet Street as a writer and editor for several tabloid papers, including The Sun, News of the World, and the Daily Mirror. In 1994, aged 29, he was appointed editor of the News of the World by Rupert Murdoch, which made him the youngest editor of a British national newspaper in more than half a century.

Piers Morgan has said he's going to see two of his sons for the first time in 10 weeks after the lockdown kept them apart. The TV presenter, 55, joked that he'd employed one son as a cleaner and another as an estate agent so he's allowed to spend time with them.

But he didn't say which of his three sons - Spencer, 26, Stanley, 22, or Albert, 19 - he would be seeing. The slightly relaxed lockdown rules mean you can spend time with one person from another household at a time, as long as you keep two metres between you.

And on Wednesday's Good Morning Britain Piers' co-host Susanna Reid asked him which of his sons he would be seeing first. "I'm going to see both my sons," he said.
