Piers Morgan
Piers Stefan Pughe-Morgan (born 30 March 1965) is an English broadcaster, journalist, writer, and television personality. He is currently a co-presenter of the ITV Breakfast programme Good Morning Britain from Monday to Wednesday each week. Morgan began his career in Fleet Street as a writer and editor for several tabloid papers, including The Sun, News of the World, and the Daily Mirror. In 1994, aged 29, he was appointed editor of the News of the World by Rupert Murdoch, which made him the youngest editor of a British national newspaper in more than half a century.

Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan issued an apology on the show on Wednesday after a mishap. It was co-host Susanna Reid who was awarded with the rare comment, after a blunder during the live show.

As the hosts returned from the advert break, Susanna went to address viewers in the normal way. But Piers got there first, saying: "Well, good morning..." Susanna had barely started talking when Piers spoke over her, before realising his mistake - while his pal did manage to complete her sentence, telling viewers: "Good morning, Britain." It was Susanna's line on the autocue, and her turn to address the viewers at home.
