A mum has spoken of her pride after her teenage daughter piped outside Wishaw hospital during the weekly Clap for Carers event.Proud Gillian Kirkwood was delighted when 17-year-old daughter began piping as dozens of colleagues looked on.She said: “I was nightshift last night and she asked if I would take her up to Wishaw to pipe for my collegues at the hospital.“When we arrived at the hospital we were informed the BBC were there and had been interviewing staff throughout the day on the coronavirus.“They were also staying to clap for the key workers at 8pm.
