After meeting policeman Kim Sun-min, he becomes a contractor with the police force to assist in monitoring criminals on probation and prevent further crimes from happening.Veteran actor Kim Woo-bin leads the new Korean film as Lee Jung-do.
Starring opposite him is Kim Sung-kyun (Moving, Reply 1988), who will play police officer Kim Sun-min. Also starring in the film are Lee Hae-young and Kim Yool-ho.Officer Black Belt is written and directed by Kim Joo-hwan, who previously helmed hit action films and series like Bloodhounds (2023), The Divine Fury (2019) and Midnight Runners (2017).On August 13, the streaming giant unveiled a minute-long peek into the upcoming action crime film.
The new teaser opens with Jung-do detailing his extensive martial arts experience to Sun-min.In the action sequence that follows, Jung-do’s playful personality causes him to treat his new job as a game of sorts, though his skills make him exceptionally effective in taking down criminals.
