Piers Stefan Pughe-Morgan (born 30 March 1965) is an English broadcaster, journalist, writer, and television personality. He is currently a co-presenter of the ITV Breakfast programme Good Morning Britain from Monday to Wednesday each week. Morgan began his career in Fleet Street as a writer and editor for several tabloid papers, including The Sun, News of the World, and the Daily Mirror. In 1994, aged 29, he was appointed editor of the News of the World by Rupert Murdoch, which made him the youngest editor of a British national newspaper in more than half a century.

Piers Morgan isn't concerned about upsetting his guests on Good Morning Britain or angering viewers with his strong opinions, but it seems he is a softie at heart.The television presenter, 55, shared his upset when his eight year old daughter Elise had "cruelly snubbed" him from her carefully curated list of ten people she would prefer to isolate with in her coronavirus bubble.

If the government allow it in the next stages of easing lockdown, people would need to make a list of family and friends they would prefer to be in contact with – but unfortunately for Piers he didn't make the cut for Elise.
