Piers Stefan Pughe-Morgan (born 30 March 1965) is an English broadcaster, journalist, writer, and television personality. He is currently a co-presenter of the ITV Breakfast programme Good Morning Britain from Monday to Wednesday each week. Morgan began his career in Fleet Street as a writer and editor for several tabloid papers, including The Sun, News of the World, and the Daily Mirror. In 1994, aged 29, he was appointed editor of the News of the World by Rupert Murdoch, which made him the youngest editor of a British national newspaper in more than half a century.

Piers Morgan has been playfully mocked by his fans after he shared a rare snap of his "identical" dad. The Good Morning Britain presenter, 55, shared the post in honour of his dad Glynne's birthday.

Celebrating it today on the sunny Bank Holiday Monday, the ITV host sadly can't celebrate it in person with his lookalike dad due to the coronavirus pandemic which has seen nearly 40,000 people die in the UK.

However, despite planning to be abroad to celebrate, Piers announced they will instead be doing a special video call this evening to celebrate safely and abide by social distancing rules.
