Piers Stefan Pughe-Morgan (born 30 March 1965) is an English broadcaster, journalist, writer, and television personality. He is currently a co-presenter of the ITV Breakfast programme Good Morning Britain from Monday to Wednesday each week. Morgan began his career in Fleet Street as a writer and editor for several tabloid papers, including The Sun, News of the World, and the Daily Mirror. In 1994, aged 29, he was appointed editor of the News of the World by Rupert Murdoch, which made him the youngest editor of a British national newspaper in more than half a century.

Piers Morgan has named and shamed celebrity "dim-wits" who've behaved like "morons" during the coronavirus outbreak. The telly star, 55, let rip in an explosive new column which he dedicated to calling out stars over their antics during the Covid-19 crisis.

In his piece for the Daily Mail, Piers stars off by declaring a crisis "brings out the best and worst in people" before going on to declare he has been "repulsed by some of the outrageous, offensive and occasionally downright obscene conduct of a minority of people." He accuses them of trying to "exploit the crisis for personal gain, arrogantly ignored warnings to save lives, or brought a whole new meaning to tone-deafness." Piers featured his old nemesis Madonna high on the list.
