Queen Camilla will be taking some time away from royal duties for a short period, it's been reported. For the last few weeks, the 76 year old has been representing the crown at more events and engagements than usual due to her husband, King Charles III's recent cancer diagnosis.
The monarch's absence - during which he's currently undergoing treatment - has seen Camilla's schedule become jam-packed.The Queen consort met with Ukraine's First Lady Olena Zelenska at Clarence House and attended a memorial service for Greek King Constantine II.
Plus, appearing at a reception for the BBC's 500 Words Finalists at Buckingham Palace. However, after such a hectic period, Camilla's calendar looks to be clear for over a week.
After her well deserved break, it's thought her first public appearance will be at Westminster Abbey for Commonwealth Day on 11 March, which celebrates the 56 members of the worldwide association.This is a significant day for the royals, as the monarch is the head of the Commonwealth.
