Liverpool have been warned that Timo Werner won't become any cheaper as the Reds backed down from a deal for the RB Leipzig forward amid football's current financial climate.
On Wednesday revealed that Liverpool have withdrawn from talks to sign Werner given the impact that the coronavirus crisis is set to cause in the transfer market.
The Reds have been known admirers of the German forward for some time, and Jurgen Klopp was hoping to add him to his squad this summer as he plotted to build for the next few years of success at Anfield.
But with Werner available for around £50million due to a release clause in his contract, Liverpool now value him at below £30million due to the pandemic's affect on financial markets.
