An unlikely royal has candidly opened up about having plastic surgery on their nose due to difficulties in breathing caused by years of sporting injuries.Former England rugby ace and spouse to the Queen's granddaughter, Mike Tindall opened up about having his nose fixed following numerous breaks during his time on the field.

While contributing to a special all-male panel version of Loose Women, Mike, who is married to Zara Tindall discussed the necessity of the surgery for medical rather than aesthetic purposes, OK!

reports.During the show, presenter Vernon Kay pressed Mike: "Your nose job was for purpose though wasn't it? Your nose was literally underneath your left eye from rugby.

It wasn't just for looks you had it done? " With characteristic wit, Mike retorted: "No, I was stopping breathing during sleep so it needed to be done."He even touched on having dental work, jokingly remarking: "I also had my teeth done but that was because they were crossed and looked like a bag of chips." Vernon, not missing a beat to highlight the rugged nature of the sport, added: "It's a great game, rugby."The programme, named 'Loose Men' for the day, featured Vernon Kay together with 'Strictly Come Dancing' star Johannes Radebe and popular radio host Roman Kemp, placing a spotlight on men's mental health concerns.

Interpol are back at work in the studio according to a new report, and drummer Sam Fogarino is getting back to playing following his recovery from spinal surgery.Fogarino was forced to sit out the band’s 2024 ‘Antics’ 20th anniversary UK and European tour following his operation.“As you may know,” he wrote on social media, “last year, I had to undergo spinal surgery, which resulted in me having to miss Interpol tour dates.”He continued: “While the surgery and recovery has been successful, thus far, unfortunately I’m dealing with continued health issues – and will have to stay off the road for the time being.”Now, according to a new report from his reps (as per Rolling Stone), his recovery is progressing well.The band’s reps said Fogarino was “recovering from his back surgery, getting back to drumming as seen on his IG, and working closely with the rest of the band and Matador on ‘Antics’ assets”They also went on to reveal that he was “writing with the other band members for the next album”, which will follow on from 2022’s ‘The Other Side Of Make-Believe’.A post shared by Samuel Fogarino (@fogonthefloor)The indie veterans have announced plans to play their second LP in full across the UK in November, including stops in Manchester, Glasgow, London and more.Now, they will wrap up their anniversary shows at Dublin’s 3Arena on November 10.
