The BBC drama Sherwood, centred around Nottingham's former mining community turned hotbed of gang conflict and political distress, is back for its gripping second season.

After being off our screens for over two years, Sherwood returned on Sunday, August 25, at 9pm on BBC One.There was a reunion with familiar faces and the introduction of some intriguing, possibly dangerous newcomers.
