Piers Stefan Pughe-Morgan (born 30 March 1965) is an English broadcaster, journalist, writer, and television personality. He is currently a co-presenter of the ITV Breakfast programme Good Morning Britain from Monday to Wednesday each week. Morgan began his career in Fleet Street as a writer and editor for several tabloid papers, including The Sun, News of the World, and the Daily Mirror. In 1994, aged 29, he was appointed editor of the News of the World by Rupert Murdoch, which made him the youngest editor of a British national newspaper in more than half a century.

Piers Morgan shared a chilling image on his Instagram to warn that family relatives will die amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Today on Good Morning Britain, Piers unleashed his fury at some of the public's "idiocy" for treating yesterday like a public holiday.

Shocking pictures at the weekend showed hoards of people collecting at parks and beaches despite the social distancing warnings.

Piers also hit out at those bunched up in lines for supermarkets, potentially spreading COVID-19, branding them morons. He raged: "The utter crass stupidity of people, the ignorance." Piers also shared a picture on his Instagram of two people separated by a dead body lying on the floor.
