The Scottish Ambulance Service has apologised after not attending an emergency call as a four-year-old boy suffered a horror seizure on a packed train.Natasha McCormick, 26 and her son Jax, 4, from West Lothian were enjoying a day out in Edinburgh alongside dad Decklyn, their other three kids and Natasha's parents on Saturday, February 15, when Jax dropped to the floor on the train journey home.Jax, who has epilepsy but had not suffered a seizure in over two years, had what the family describe as a 'tonic-clonic' seizure in front of worried onlookers.A tonic-clonic seizure happens in two stages and starts with a loss of consciousness before the body going stiff, sometimes leading to the person falling to the floor.Get the latest news sent straight to your messages by joining our WhatsApp community today. You'll receive daily updates on breaking news as well as the top headlines across Scotland. No one will be able to see who is signed up and no one can send messages except the Daily Record team. All you have to do is click here if you're on mobile, select 'Join Community' and you're in!If you're on a desktop, simply scan the QR code above with your phone and click 'Join Community'.We also treat our community members to special offers, promotions, and adverts from us and our partners.
