Max George has shared a heartbreaking health update on social media.The singer previously revealed to fans that he underwent emergency surgery late last year to have a pacemaker fitted after being rushed to the hospital by his mum with suspected heart issues.

However, he has now disclosed that the procedure didn’t go as planned. His health scare didn’t end there, as The Wanted star required a lung biopsy after doctors found enlarged lymph nodes.

Further complications with his pacemaker later revealed that he would need another surgery.Now Max had admitted he is going through a "pretty rough time." Taking to Instagram today Max shared a photo of himself lying in a hospital bed with headphones in, and wires and monitors attached to his his body.

The caption wrote: "A few weeks ago I had to go back into hospital after having some physical symptoms in my chest. It turned out that one of the leads was placed too far into my heart. "The second surgery took about 2 hours.
