Tributes have now been paid to more than 70 NHS workers who died after contracting coronavirus. Dominic Raab, who is standing in for the prime minister, told Parliament on Wednesday that a confirmed total of 69 NHS workers have died after contracting Covid-19.

However, the number of healthcare workers who have been named in tributes from family and colleagues is much higher.
