A senior Tory Brexiteer says Dominic Cummings must quit, urging Boris Johnson to "take back control." Steve Baker, a former Brexit minister and ex-chair of the European Research Group, said the PM's chief advisor was doing "harm to the UK".

He's the first Tory MP to break cover and publicly call for Mr Cummings to resign. He branded today's newspapers a "disaster" for the government, and said the government was spending "enormous political capital...saving someone who has boasted of making decisions beyond his competence and clearly broke at the very least the guidance which kept mums and dads at home." It comes after the Mirror published allegations that Mr Cummings had defied lockdown rules for a second time - breaking rules he helped
