A group was sent packing by Welsh police after going on a 440-mile round trip to the beach. The trio were pulled over in Loveston by officers after they drove from Coventry to Pembrokeshire yesterday.

They were reported for breaching coronavirus regulations and escorted out the area. Police forces across the country have urged people to stick to lockdown guidelines until they are eased on Monday after crowds flocked to parks and beaches last night.

Officers slammed Boris Johnson's decision to announce Monday's easing of lockdown rules ahead of the weekend when temperatures are set to soar to 25C, reports Coventry Live.
