Covid related deaths, surpassing the Great Plague, Aids pandemic and the Blitz combined. With a further 1,631 deaths recording on Tuesday, the total has now reached above 100,000.The number is also worse than every single terror attack and war since 1945.

On Tuesday Prime Minister Boris Johnson held a press conference marking the huge death toll, reports The Independent. During the appearance, medical experts warned deaths will remain at a high level for at least the next two weeks.
