While parents in Britain face the prospect of schools staying shut until Easter, some countries have found ways to fight coronavirus while keeping classes open.
Boris Johnson has today said schools in England will not reopen until at least March 8 - after the UK became just the fifth country in the world to pass 100,000 deaths.
Children's Commissioner Anne Longfield has called on MPs to "think creatively" about how they can get children back in lessons as soon as possible, claiming a "roadmap is lacking".
She said: "Unfortunately it is a lot easier to close schools than to reopen them. "Everyone recognises the necessity of reopening schools as soon as possible, but hope alone will not make it happen. "What is lacking is a clear roadmap
