Sue Radford, from the well-known '22 Kids and Counting' series, was overcome with emotion during Sunday's Channel 5 episode as her daughter Tillie faced a daunting decision.For weeks, Tillie had come home from school distressed, prompting her father Noel to find out she was being mocked due to her disability.
A critical point for the Radfords came after hospital visits raised the question of whether Tillie should go through with a leg operation.Sue shared her distress, saying: "When Tillie was five, she was stood in front of me and I thought, 'There was a bone like it was sticking out'.
I went straight to the doctor and the doctor went, 'Yep, that definitely doesn't look right'. There was a problem with that bone."It later emerged that Tillie's femur suffered when an infection affected the growth plate at age 14, the Mirror reports.
In a deeply moving video posted online, Sue can be seen crying in her car as she discloses details about Tillie's condition, conveying her fears with tearful concern: "We don't know if that bone will stop growing, we just have to hope that it doesn't and that it's alright.
