Strictly Come Dancing's professional dancer Amy Dowden has opened up about her recent health scare during a chat on It Takes Two with Janette Manrara, Lauren Oakley and JB Gill.The 34-year-old Welsh star was rushed to hospital on Saturday after feeling unwell after the live show.

She was taken from Elstree Studios, the BBC One show's production centre, to Barnet Hospital as a precautionary measure. However, on Friday (November 1), Amy made an unexpected appearance on the Strictly spin-off show It Takes Two, where she updated fans on her health while chatting with presenter Janette.

Meanwhile, JB is preparing for his performance with temporary dance partner Lauren Oakley. "I'm feeling so much better and I'd just like to thank everyone for all the love and support I've received and to my Strictly family", she expressed.

Amy's celeb dance partner JB Gill showed his gratitude to the public for their support on Monday, just hours after her health scare.
