A man suffered life-changing injuries following a 'shooting' in a quiet Cheshire village. Officers were called out to Dragons Lane in Moston, near Sandbach, at around 9pm on Wednesday (November 20).
Cheshire Police says it received reports of a firearms discharge. On arrival at the scene, officers saw a 38-year-old man with injuries to his chest and eye.
The man was rushed to hospital for treatment. Cheshire Police says his injuries are thought to be life-changing. Police returned to the area today (Thursday) to conduct further enquiries. Residents in the village of Moston have been told to expect a visible policing presence in the area this week.
