two-metre social distancing rule by September in a bid to get schools and offices to "get back to normal." Just in time for the start of the school year, Boris Johnson hopes to get things back on track so schools can fully reopen.
The current rule of two-metre distance differs from the official World Health Organisation guidelines, which states one-metre is enough.
Mr Johnson may look to change to the WHO standard of social distancing, according to the Telegraph..In a press briefing this week, the Government’s Chief Scientific Adviser hinted at a possible change of the rule after saying the guideline was "not a rule" but a “risk-based assessment”.
