Bus and car crash on Scots high street leaves two in hospital

Two casualties have been raced to hospital after a crash between a bus and car on a busy Scots street.Emergency crews rushed to West Main Street, Broxburn, shortly after 7am on Tuesday, February 18, following reports of a crash involving a bus and a car, reports Edinburgh Live.

The busy West Lothian road was subsequently closed for more than 12 hours and diversions were put in place. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "West Main Street in Uphall is closed following a crash involving a bus and a car which happened around 7.20am on Tuesday, 18 February, 2025.

Diversions are in place via Cardross Road and Kirkhill Park."In an update posted at 9pm the force confirmed the road is reopen and two casualties were taken to hospital.
