Cars spotted queuing this afternoon outside newly opened KFC drive-thru

Hamilton’s KFC store re-opened today (Tuesday, May 5) for drive-thru.The store at Hamilton Palace Retail Park had been closed for weeks following the coronavirus pandemic but appeared to re-open to the public for drive-thru only.Cars at lunchtime queued up as they waited in line for their fried chicken fix.However, motorists were prevented from turning directly into the take-away.

As they headed into the retail park, they were forced to make their way around the car park before joining the queue.The entrance was taped off and was manned by KFC workers wearing masks.KFC released a list of 55 stores re-opening today on their website for drive-thru.
