Liam Handley, from Glossop, had suffered from anxiety for much of his life.
His vibrant red hair had been made a joke of from his early years right through to his adult life. That, along with his dyslexia, had often made him very self-conscious.
When dad-of-four Liam first went to his GP with chest pains, his doctor put his symptoms down to stress and increased his medication.
But the pains refused to subside. Liam kept returning to his GP but each time his medication just increased further. Months later, it was revealed that Liam had lung cancer, which would go on to kill him in a matter of weeks.
