Piers Stefan Pughe-Morgan (born 30 March 1965) is an English broadcaster, journalist, writer, and television personality. He is currently a co-presenter of the ITV Breakfast programme Good Morning Britain from Monday to Wednesday each week. Morgan began his career in Fleet Street as a writer and editor for several tabloid papers, including The Sun, News of the World, and the Daily Mirror. In 1994, aged 29, he was appointed editor of the News of the World by Rupert Murdoch, which made him the youngest editor of a British national newspaper in more than half a century.

Dan Walker, 43, sent his well wishes to rival ITV show host Good Morning Britain's Piers Morgan, 55, after he announced the worrying news he had come down with a symptom of the deadly coronavirus in the past 48-hours.

He broke the news Monday on Twitter, and said he was waiting on test results.He posted: "UPDATE: On medical advice, and out of an abundance of caution for a mild symptom that arose in past 48hrs, I’ve had a test for COVID-19 and so won’t be working on @GMB until I get the result back, which should be tomorrow."The news left many fans of the outspoken presenter concerned for his health, as he was was replaced by Ben Shepherd on GMB yesterday as he awaited his results.Dan replied with a message of support in these concerning.
