Piers Stefan Pughe-Morgan (born 30 March 1965) is an English broadcaster, journalist, writer, and television personality. He is currently a co-presenter of the ITV Breakfast programme Good Morning Britain from Monday to Wednesday each week. Morgan began his career in Fleet Street as a writer and editor for several tabloid papers, including The Sun, News of the World, and the Daily Mirror. In 1994, aged 29, he was appointed editor of the News of the World by Rupert Murdoch, which made him the youngest editor of a British national newspaper in more than half a century.

Piers Morgan was absent from Good Morning Britain for the second time this week today after testing negative for coronavirus.

The 55-year-old television presenter revealed his results yesterday after he took the test due to having symptoms. Fans were baffled to see him still missing today despite not having the virus.

They flooded Twitter, questioning the whereabouts of the ITV host. One tweeted Piers saying: "You had a mild symptom? A runny nose?

A small cough? You then felt the need to be tested? Test were negative and still you need to be off work?" While another typed: "Piers where are you?
