Davina McCall was left fighting tears as she was seen for the first time since undergoing brain surgery. The presenter shocked fans earlier this month when she revealed she was having surgery after doctors discovered a 14mm wide tumour during a random health scan.
She said in a video posted on Instagram at the time: "A few months ago, I did a menopause talk for a company and they offered me a health scan in return, which I thought I was gonna ace.
But it turned out I had a benign brain tumour called a colloid cyst which is very rare. Three in a million. So I slightly put my head in the sand." Davina explained how colloid cysts are very rare, saying three people in a million get them.
They are small fluid-filled sacs located in or around the lateral and third ventricle of the brain.
