James Van Der Beek has a shocking health update. The Dawson’s Creek alum is currently battling colorectal cancer — he confirmed as much in an interview with People published on Sunday.

He told the outlet: How scary! James has been married to wife Kimberly Van Der Beek since 2010, and the pair share six kids together.
