Former Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov has said that he hopes an agreement can be reached that will see Odion Ighalo stay at Old Trafford until the end of the season.
Ighalo looks set to leave the club this week , with his parent club Shanghai Shenhua keen to take the striker back to China when his loan deal expires.
The coronavirus-enforced disruption to the season means United’s campaign will now extend far into the summer, meaning that the team could be without the forward for their final nine league games of the season as well as games in the Europa League and possibly the FA Cup.
