Emergency service crews in Paisley tackle vehicle fires at problem site

Firefighters doused the flames on two burning vehicles in Paisley on Tuesday night – with police treating the incident as deliberate.

The blazes on Ben Alder Drive were attended to by the emergency services around 7.30pm after the alarm had been raised.Crews arrived to find two vehicles on fire.

The flames were subsequently extinguished and nobody was injured as a result of what happened.A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were alerted at 7.30pm on Tuesday, March 5, to reports of two vehicles on fire on Ben Alder Drive in Paisley.“Operations Control mobilised two appliances to the scene and firefighters extinguished the flames.
