Emergency services descend on road as car left on side following crash

This was the scene after a car was left on its side following a dramatic collision on a busy Trafford road. Emergency services were called out to Manchester Road, in Carrington, at around 4.20pm on Monday afternoon (August 12).

It followed a crash involving one car, near to Trafford Veterinary Centre. An image from the scene showed a red car on its side while emergency workers observed the scene.

Traffic built up in the area while the road was blocked, before the scene was cleared. A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service said: “At just before 4.20pm on Monday (August 12) two fire engines from Sale and Stretford Community Fire Stations attended a crash involving one car on Manchester Road, Carrington.
