Scots flight diverted to Portugal amid mid-air medical emergency

A flight bound for Scotland has been forced to divert to Portugal after a medical emergency on-board. The Ryanair aircraft, which was due to land in Glasgow, made the scheduled diversion to Lisbon at around 8.40pm on Thursday.The FR654 flight departed from Tenerife at 7.44pm after being delayed for an hour.It had been due to land at Prestwick Airport at 10.50pm.

The nature of the medical emergency is not currently known. According to Radarbox, the flight landed in Lisbon at around 9pm before continuing its journey at 11pm, with it arriving at Glasgow Prestwick Airport at around 1.45am.
