ITV Emmerdale's Moira Dingle star feels 'lucky to be alive' as she opens up on real life health scare

Scots Emmerdale star Natalie J Robb has revealed she feels "lucky to be alive" after her recent harrowing storyline. Best known to fans as Moria Dingle, who she's played on the ITV soap for the past 15 years, Natalie had viewers at the edge of their seats this week when her character suffered a terrifying seizure.Things aren't set to get any easier for the Bellshill-born star's alter ego, as Moira will be dealt some health news over the next few weeks.

This will devastate her and will set of a chain of events that could threaten Moira's life and that of another fan favourite from the Dales.

In an exclusive chat with the Mirror, Natalie wasn't giving away much about what's going to happen next - only that it will be "life-changing”.

She said: “When I was told Moira would be suffering from a serious health condition, I knew I wanted to play my part in helping to raise awareness. “I think it is important we do cover serious illnesses that hopefully will help people know they aren’t alone."I would be petrified if I started to have seizures and had no idea why.
