Hugh Jackman has shared his experience of being tested for cancer. The Wolverine star disclosed last year that he had a biopsy on his nose to test for a mild form of skin cancer.According to Cancer Research, 86% of skin cancer cases in the UK could be prevented.
Now, the actor, 56, is set to feature in a new documentary alongside Olympian Cate Campbell and Deborah Hutton.In conquering Skin Cancer, Hugh shares his emotions during the frightening period as he awaited his biopsy results.
In the trailer, Hugh can be heard saying: "I remember feeling pretty scared." He also made a direct appeal to viewers, urging them to get tested if they have any worries. "I promise, you won't regret it," he stated.
Last year, Hugh told fans that doctors were checking him for basal cell as reported in the Mirror.He urged fans to always wear sunscreen to prevent the harmful disease from developing.
