Keir Starmer has told Boris Johnson to "get a grip" as he attacked the Prime Minister for "winging it" over the coronavirus lockdown.

The Labour leader today ramped up his criticism of the government after two weeks that were rocked by rows and scandal in the Covid-19 response.

Sir Keir began in April by saying he would take a "constructive" approach to the pandemic. But ahead of a PMQs clash this lunchtime, he said trust in the government has now "collapsed" after "a week or more of mismanagement".
