One of the UK's top virus experts has dismissed the chances of a second coronavirus wave – and slammed the government for putting Britain into lockdown.
Bacteriology professor Hugh Pennington described himself as a “second wave sceptic” as he savaged Boris Johnson’s coronavirus strategy.
