Many supermarkets are changing their policies to aid vulnerable shoppers during the coronavirus crisis. Aldi has urged customers to stop panic buying, while Iceland has opened its doors early so the elderly can get their essentials before other shoppers.

And now, Marks and Spencer has implemented new rules to aid “older and vulnerable” customers, as well as “brilliant NHS and emergency workers”.
