Fast food fans caused tailbacks across the country on Monday as they queued to get a McDonald's before the restaurants closed their doors.
Hungry customers in Glasgow, Wishaw and Paisley were spotted queuing round the block to get their fix of their favourite meal ahead of the shutdown caused by the coronavirus outbreak.
The fast food giant announced its restaurants would close their doors from 7pm today, as the country tries to limit the spread of the deadly COVID-19 strain.
A statement issued on Sunday by the restaurant chain – which has more than 1300 stores and employs 135,000 workers in the UK - confirmed they will close by 7pm today.
