Mindy Kaling Shares Advice with Cast of New 'The Office' Spinoff Series
Mindy Kaling is getting ready to pass the torch to the cast of the new The Office spinoff series!
Earlier this month, Peacock officially confirmed that they were working on a spinoff series to the hit NBC comedy series, which ran from 2005 to 2013.
Along with starring in the original series, Mindy, 44, also served as one of the show’s writers and producers.
In a new interview, Mindy was asked to share some of her best advice with the cast of the new spinoff. Keep reading to find out more…“Try not to laugh,” Mindy shared on SiriusXM’s The Morning Mash Up. “I ruined so many takes just because I’d be, like, laughing at Rainn Wilson and Steve Carrell,” Mindy continued. “I was not professional.” Mindy added, “I was supposed to be horrified all the time, but really it just made me laugh.” “In fact, I think I might be laughing on camera,” Mindy continued. “I’m assuming that cast is gonna be as funny as the one we had, and there’s so many great brains behind it, so that would be my thing is just learn not to break on camera.” Following news of The Office spinoff series, it has been revealed that two of the OG stars said that they wouldn’t return.
