A Scots granny who was allegedly robbed of £250 as she lay in hospital has thanked a mysterious stranger who has come to the rescue.We told how medics rushed Ursula Gay to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital after she fell and broke her leg inside her Jordanhill home on Sunday evening, February 18.But while the 72-year-old was recuperating in hospital it was noticed the sum of money was missing from her purse, Glasgow Live reports.The pensioner had taken the sum out to buy a chair that would help her mobility.

I am so absolutely overwhelmed that someone would do this for little old me. What a kind-hearted soul who has brightened up my day so much."This means so much to me and it means I am one bit closer to being able to afford my special chair.
