Pete Davidson has checked into a wellness facility for his mental health, according to PEOPLE.On Wednesday (July 31) the outlet confirmed that the Saturday Night Live star is taking some time to focus on his health.

It comes after comedian recently finished a run of more than 200 live stand-up shows across the US, as well as several film projects and the release of his second Netflix special, Turbo Fonzarelli.Mental health has “always been a priority” for the comedian, a source told PEOPLE.

The King Of Staten Island star has been open about his sobriety journey on his tour, as well as his history of dealing with borderline personality disorder and severe post-traumatic stress disorder.The source added that Davidson has been focusing on his sobriety this year, and his friends and family are “proud that he has chosen to continue to take care of himself”.In June 2023, Davidson checked himself into rehab to address issues related to his BPD and PTSD.At the time, a source told PEOPLE: “Pete will often check himself into rehab to work on these issues.
