Piers Stefan Pughe-Morgan (born 30 March 1965) is an English broadcaster, journalist, writer, and television personality. He is currently a co-presenter of the ITV Breakfast programme Good Morning Britain from Monday to Wednesday each week. Morgan began his career in Fleet Street as a writer and editor for several tabloid papers, including The Sun, News of the World, and the Daily Mirror. In 1994, aged 29, he was appointed editor of the News of the World by Rupert Murdoch, which made him the youngest editor of a British national newspaper in more than half a century.

Piers Morgan shared his delight after finally being reunited with his son Spencer. The Good Morning Britain presenter, 55, had been separated from his eldest son, 26, for three months due to the coronavirus pandemic.

But thanks to the government's new rules which allow people to meet with one person from another household at a safe two-metre distance, they were able to see each other once more.

Meeting up in a park, the father-son duo stood two metres away from each other as Piers snapped a selfie. Wearing a dark shirt and Ray-Ban sunglasses, Piers smiled as he gave the camera a thumbs up.
