Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan ripped into Tory care minister Helen Whately on the show today. Piers, 55, ranted as it was revealed coronavirus testing numbers had dropped in a week.
Helen had been GMB a week earlier, in an interview described as a "train wreck" because she didn't appear to have correct figures on testing when asked by Susanna Reid's co-star Piers.
And this week, Piers was fuming there had only been 18,000 new tests carried out yesterday, a fall on previous days. After Health Minister Matt Hancock said the target was 100,000 per day by the end of April, Piers said he couldn't see how this target would be met.
